Box spring ??!!

How would you use a box spring on a platform bed ? It appears from the picture a thick mattress would sit right on the platform, otherwise the box spring would show?? And you'd need to somehow cover it?

    I would use a low profile box if you don’t want it to show. If regular box, cover it with same fitted sheet as on mattress.
