Tomorrow we're going to visit the parents, but hopefully I'll feel motivated to sew on Sunday. I've been a total lazy lima bean this week.

I am going to try to put together projects that I am taking to retreat. I do not want to wait until the last minute because work has been crazy. If I can get that done, I will feel like I accomplished a bunch.

I may actually try to piece a bit this weekend. I think I may have enough bend in my right knee to be able to use the foot pedal. I chose some fabric for the October and November lotto blocks, so that would seem a good little project to start on.

I've been quilting DDs quilt all week and will continue with that, as well as pay a visit to my LQS for Lotto fabric. Should get out an do some fall cleanup in the garden, but don't really feel like it.

Squaring up units and hoping to get a few more blocks made.

Well I just finished the Twinkling Stars quilt from MSQ but I'm having a problem uploading the photo, I'll try again later.

I went back and counted how many of Jenny Doan's quilts I've made and I counted six. Not counting the cat pillow I made. Almost every week when I look at her tutorials I wind up saying to myself "Oh, I want to make that one!"

That's lovely, Rita. I can't see clearly from the pic but the border seems to pick up colors from the blocks. I love Jenny Doan patterns too. I met her at the Houston quilt market last year and it was like meeting a celebrity.

Im working very slowly on a UFO - summer in the park pattern from Missouri star. It's actually a simple tube quilt pattern. Going slow because I cut the blocks a while ago and the points don't match very well. Lots of pinning and tugging ruins my mood.

I happened to see that pattern earlier, Rita, and fell in love with it. I'll not make a quilt (I don't think), but I did make a red/white/blue block for the stack of QOV sampler blocks I'll be donating. The white for the stars just makes it sparkle.
