Pella casement window

Our house was builtin 2011 and has all Pella vinyl windows. I noticed this morning (first cold morning) that one of the kitchen crank out windows was about 98% closed. I gets all the way to the point the lock mechanism would go into the window receiver (or whatever that's called). The window does not seem to be catching on any part of the frame itself. At this point the winds will not close further, appears stuck getting past the lock on the frame. I've done the obvious and ensure the lock wasn't already in the lock position and that it has clear movement lock -> unlock. Things just appear a milimeter off somehow, waiting to see if once things warm up it simply works, but of not, what sort of adjustments are possible? I'm pretty sure i could push from the outside and get it to pop closed (I just don't want to force at at crank). But would that fix it, or would this simply happen again every time it's opened?
