Design Dilemma Storage & Closet

2-sided pocket mirrored door

Master bath remodel, which includes adding a 2-sided mirror pocket door to master walk-in closet. When the pocket door is closed, the interior casing is exposed--which is raw wood. The casing is visible from the reflection of the mirror. What can be done to make the interior casing have a finished appearance?

I don't really understand what you mean. Can you provide a photo of the door you're using?

I think you want the mirror to make up less of the total area of the door, because as long as any mirror extends into the wall, it will reflect what it sees there... Maybe something with a band of wood around it, like a shaker door?

Thank you Lydia for your interest. Below is a picture of the front side of the pocket door. The other pictures are the exposed inside wall when sliding the door into the pocket.
