I was looking for a dark leaved, aggressive ground cover for contrast to the plants I already have there and for a plant that can grow in harsh conditions. Thanks as always for your generosity.

Oh it's aggressive! It forms roots along the runners and grows in practically no soil. I used to pull it out in clumps constantly. I have some of the dark green kind but it has never really been aggressive. But maybe someone else has more of it for you. Good luck.

I have a bunch too and you're welcome to however much you want, although it may be variegated as well. I can go check tomorrow when it's light. But regardless, it's in a sunny dry location and gets no coddling from me, so it seems pretty hardy.

I've got some periwinkle I can share. Mine is in too dry an area to be invasive. It's just barely going, but some of it has spread to an area under some blue spruce branches, and you can't even tell it's there. I've been telling myself for a few years that I should transplant it, but it never seems to get prioritized. It's yours if you want it, but it's not a lot. It would take some patience and time to cover a whole hill.
