i think you could do a darker tone.

Urbane Bronze, Iron mountain or even Black, will all look nice. stay away from blue undertones.

Iron Ore would also work

because your stone has the yellow/gold/beige tones. I would stick w/a gray w/those warmer undertones as opposed to a gray w/the blue or green tones. They're cool and your colors are warm. So using the colors mentioned above, those are all warmer undertones and meld better w/the limestone. Now, if you were doing the Vermont Blue slate stone, then of course the blue/gray paint would be perfect.

I agree with Beth and Iron Mountain. It's a nice warm very dark gray. Warm being the key if you are using the stone you posted.

Iron Ore might look nice. You can buy a quart can and see how it changes with the daylight or you might try Peppercorn... a pinch lighter than Iron Ore.
