Center it on the light fixture. Even though the rooms are open to each other, they are their own space.

The round mirror is a great choice because it adds softness and balance to the dining area. Since your dining room flows into the living room, I’d try to make both spaces feel connected rather than decorating them separately.

You could also consider adding wall art to create a stronger focal point. An oversized abstract painting or textured wall art would work beautifully with a round dining table, adding depth and complementing the curves of the mirror without competing with it.

I wouldn’t worry too much about centering everything with the chandelier. The overall wall balance and how it looks from different areas of the room matter more. I’d place the mirror or artwork based on the furniture layout first, then adjust slightly if needed.
