I like the idea of black chairs, which will also compliment your chandelier. Mixing and matching chairs is also a great look. You could easily find second hand wood chairs and paint/distress - really durable. Love the Windsor or metal chair. The table would look great with chairs all around, no bench.

Hey there - I am not sure if the first photo is the table in your dining room or not so my apologies if I have it wrong. If it is then maybe you can go with a different light fixture (similar to what I have in my attached photo), some higher back wicker chairs at the ends of the table and these darker metal stackable chairs for the sides. I think everything combined will look beautiful! Good luck!

Please sit in chairs before you buy. Is it a chair that fits the size of family members? My sons in law are opposite height scale, so I make sure the largest has enough seat room. No cute, fragile, lightweight, "decorative " chairs at our table. I want everyone to stay, talking and laughing, not rush through a meal to get to a more comfortable chair in the great room. Buying six to eight chairs is not a minor expense, no matter what your budget is. Take the time to shop and sit. Yes, style is important. But, there are always several manufacturers-therefore many price ranges- in each style.
