Does it give a 'color' of the stain? I don't think it will clash, but I think you can find something better! I don't know what your budget is, but if it's tight, check Craigslist. You can find some really nice solid wood tables for a song. People are always selling chairs as well. If you have any DIY skills, you can paint or recover the seats. You could find a solid oak table on CL for 1/4 of the price of that table.

I'm not a designer - just a design hobbyist. It's hard to tell but if there are some of the table tones in the darker highlights of the floor I think it could work. The table with the chairs does seem to be a little modern farmhouse to me so if that's the look you're going for then great! The rest of your furniture doesn't give that vibe though so something to keep in mind?

I'm 74 years old and have been a designer now for about 38 years. In all this time, I've NEVER heard people obsess about matching their wood furniture to their floor until I got on GW a couple of years ago! Who does this? Why? I suppose if one had some very odd colored wood floor it could matter, but I doubt it.

@Beth the color of the stain is dark cherry. We will definitely keep an eye out on craigslist. For some reason I didn't even consider that.

@Tafe that is a good point about the style of the table not really going with the vibe of the living room furniture. Wish we could go back and change the living room furniture, we both are starting to realize we like more rustic/farmhouse styles.

table should look fine. You can go rustic farmhouse with your sofas. You just need to bring in some other elements.
