These are Hunter Douglas designer screen shades. They are battery operated. They use standard AA batteries that only have to be changed (by the clients/very easy) every 2 to 3 years depending on usage. Clients have both a remote control and/or wall switch (wireless) to operate the shades. Notice the fabric wrapped cassette covers at the top to conceal the rolled fabric, controls and battery pack. Yes. These are available in Texas or any other state. Just search for a good local Hunter Douglas dealer. They'll know what to show you. I happily do long-distance projects when clients can't find someone locally to work with. I'm in Nashville, but have clients in several other states.
