What colors do you like? I will make a suggestion so we can figure out your taste. This one is muted tones and lighter in color. You may want more contrast or jewel tones. This is another muted but slightly more colorful rug

Sorry about that! I should have added these pics in my first post. The dining chairs have some blue, green and burgandy. The love seat in the living room looks black, but is actually a deep navy with greens and burgundy. I've added a pic of the livingroom which is just off the great room to give you an idea of my style. I really like second rug a lot aktillery9! I have wondered if I should go with muted tones because there is so much movement in the floor.

Will the rug be seen from every room? Are you just looking for just one under your two chairs?

The rug will be seen from each room. We don't have a formal dining room. This is our only table. It has leaves to seat 10. I'm not a lover of a rug under the table and with the sitting area I don't think there would be room for 2 of them anyhow.

It also comes in reverse.

A few people on Gardenweb have this rug. Still traditional but a bit different.
