GP, one can use cuttings to propagate? That's good news because I toss so many cuttings or broken vine lengths away. I've layered a few (attached, not cuttings), but when they seem to just get lost is a mass of foliage.

My VdL in in the house now, with tender growth. At some point later in the season, I'll be willing to send you cutting of vine or root. Does TX allow plant materials from outside the state to be shipped in?

@petalique the easy way to propagate clematis from the cuttings, I did it earlier wih Clematis Heather Herschell and other plants as well. as of now, I do have Clematis Heather Herschell for exchange.

TX do not have any restriction for clematis. So you are free to send here. Please let me know whenever.
