Installing over Formica Furniture?

I would like to cover my Formica bathroom vanity with these tiles. Since it doesn't need grouting i think it would give my dated vanity fresh, updated, beautiful look. My question is how to install it over formica. Will it stick? Should i sand it first, or paint it with a primer? What kind of adhesive would work? What is your suggestion? thank you.
