It sound like iron chlorosis.

most of the time chlorosis is either iron, magnesium, or nitrogen.

if your soil is high in lime, it might not be getting enough Mag.

if it has no food, (or something else is robbing the N)

- it might be nitrogen

(if the soil is high in un-decomposed wood, that will rob N from the soil)

if the soil is poor in iron, or the PH is too high, it could be iron.

i make sure i give it all 3.

there are several types of iron also. some need a low PH, some do not.

i use DTPA %11 its much better than regular iron, but still needs a PH under 7.5 to work properly... mine is about 6.5 to 6.8 and it works great.

A picture would help. If you move a plant, particularly from indoors to outdoors, it takes some time to acclimatize. You can burn the leaves of a plant if you move it directly outdoors. The burned leaves will drop, but the plant will usually put out replacements.
