Our kitchen remodel is almost done (photo below)!

Backsplash: Leaning towards this look with the Walker Zanger 6th Avenue White Gloss 3"x6"tile. It is an almost perfect match to the cabinet's BM White Dove paint. (The final range hood height will be adjusted after backsplash is in. Window trim starts 4.25" above counter.)

Windows: The kitchen is at the rear of the house, overlooking the deck. Windows are west facing, so sun control is critical at dinner time. Thinking either woven woods (inside-mount or just below crown moulding?) or inside-mount solar shade with a fabric valance from crown to cover top of shade. Other options?

Other info: Cabinets: BM White Dove. Countertop: Caeserstone Organic White. Island: Ocean Black leathered granite. Floors: Brazilian Chestnut. Faucet and Handles: Brushed Nickel. Appliances: Stainless. Walls: BM White Dove. Trim: BM Chantilly Lace. Light Lighting: pendants should arrive tomorrow.
