I'd like to prep a new garden plot for future use, and the most convenient spot would be an area which has shade from our house toward the south, and tree shade toward the west. It gets sun for several hours during the morning and early afternoon in Summer. Which direction should I face rows/beds, East-West or North-South? Trying to prevent front rows/beds from blocking the light from the back ones.
