I'm in solid zone 10 (in the middle between 10a and 10b). It's kind of an unusual variety, 'pisang ceylon' (a subcategory of Mysore) which I read is not an especially cold hardy variety. A smaller one that was in a pot died over the Winter. This one survived. The fronds don't look so well after Winter but eventually they recover. It needs to be kept consistently watered in the Summer.
