I wouldn't call those beige. I'd call them a warm gray. gray cabinets have been all the rage for the last few years. will it last? prob not. like every other trend it gives way to something else. What matters is what you like and what you want to look at for the next few decades.

Anything painted from the factory will hold up fine. just use handles and stay on top of cleaning. wipe down and clean your cabinets thoroughly at least once a month. if they're allowed to stay greasy, dirt is attracted to them and gets 'glued' to it. If you're getting shaker style, keep a little toothbrush in your arsenal to clean all the corners and inner door panels from grime.

Thank you for your suggestions! I guess they are more of a taupe or greige than beige. I think we’ll go for it. I just feel like it gives the space a less sterile feel. Warmer and more homey and that’s the feel we’re going for.

Just get your white cabinets that you love. Between cleaning them or your beige, there really isn't that much of a difference timewise.

It will make it so much easier to coordinate future household items as opposed to constantly asking yourself "will this match my beige cabinets?"

Regardless of color or stain, cabinets have to be cleaned on a regular basis. it isn’t just fingerprints, but also cooking that dulls the look. You want white? Get white.

Beige, white cabinets - they all get dirt marks when u have kids. So don’t worry about that, just clean the marks as u see them. Problem solved. :)
