I think a vibrant yellow or pomegrate or apple green would really tie this together. If you are going for a softer look then butter cream yellow might help tie it in.

How did you come to this color scheme? Generally when decorating a bedroom, the bed, specifically the linens are the jumping off point for the whole room. Buy a nice comforter set that you absolutely love. If it ties in the grey and the teal then you won't have to paint. If not, you can worry about repainting then. Regardless, the rule in any bedroom is generally the linens. They drive the scheme. Good luck!

Use the accent colors just with some splashes. bring in white linens and then have a couple of accent pillows in your other accent color (orange, yellow, lime green - settle for one). Are you adding nightstands as well? Since you have a low headboard, think about adding some artwork above the headboard.

Lately I am loving Navy Blue and Turquoise. I think it would look wonderful with the navy and white linens.

I am not crazy about accent walls. I would either paint all the walls gray or all the walls Teal. Look for a white bedside table or chest and white ceramic bedside lamp that will contrast with the wall color and tie in the white woodwork. The lamp base could also be a third accent color that is found in the duvet print fabric or bench fabric.
The bedding can be also predominately white or white and gray or a pattern with the teal. With that low headboard keep the pillows simple. A pair of sleeping pillows lying flat and one long neck roll or rectangular pillow in a pattern set in front of the sleeping pillows or shams. If there is room at the foot of the bed then add a pair of benches or one long bench in a complimentary print or if room a chair in a corner of the room.

haberjam, you can bring art and add more colors through art and accessories, such as bedding and pillows.

The two sets can work on the teal wall and the rest can work on the grey wall, in case you would like to have art there as well. I actually like your colors you just need to blend them using a really nice bed cover that has more of the tall and some grey and maybe add a couple of modern paintings over the bed in gray color. A little rug infront of the bed with the two colors would be a plus. I would even get acouple of Tiffany boxes to place on a shelf just to spread the teal to the other walls. Good luck

Inspiration - coral and deeper blue and/or light gray, 'ivory" linens (to work with headboard)

You could paint the 'gray walls' with 'two' wide horizontal stripes in teal all the way around the room. Maybe some black furniture or ivory.

I like your colors, but agree that the starting point is usually the bed linens.

Black and white on bed, black frames with black and white photos (T&co ad pictures if you want a theme? Or cliche Audrey H). That would tie in your floor and wall... Side tables and lamps...

I think you should look at a color wheel and pick the color opposite this one on the wheel, which would be a red/orange color and use it, along with a royal blue as a smaller bit of accent color. So, I envision a coverlet or quilt with orange in various shades on your bed with pillows in teal and royal blue. You may also like an accent rug in royal blue as well.

In my humble opinion, you have too many neutrals: White on the door and trim, grey on the wall and ivory on the bed. The gray and ivory don't really go together. I would paint the door, trim and gray wall in neutrals in the same color range as the bed. Find linens that match the door and pick up the blue on the wall.

Thanks for allowing me to comment. Accent walls, in my opinion, should be saved for very large spaces where there is a need to break up the space. It is not appealing in a room this size.

I would paint the room in gray and leave the color for accents.

I would buy a very large piece of artwork to fill up the space above the headboard. Keep the linens on your bed white and simple with a touch of color.

I would try to work with what you have, could be pretty. definitely tie in your bedding and I would add some mirrored night stands, Hollywood 40's. bring in a bold color like mentioned above that ties in your bedding and art. good luck

I like Brenda's idea since the comforter has both white and cream in it just like your room (wood is bright white, headboard is cream). The whites are throwing it off right now because thats all you notice but if you use something like Brenda suggested, it will look super!

Hang some art work that complements that beautiful accent wall. Here's a piece I did earlier this year.

With the right set of linens and accessories, your existing bedroom wall colors will be lovely. If you keep your color palette narrow (blues, greens, teals), you will have a more restful room.

I agree with Nancy. If you want soothing, she's right. If you want the spark of another color then small doses will work.
