I am working on a Dresden plate turkey wall hanging for DIL and need to get the fishing baby quilt done for a friend. I got today off from some volunteer commitments, so it is a bonus day to get the household chores finished and shop for the fabric I still need for those projects. DS & DIL & granddaughter will come for dinner on Sunday - YEAH!

Maybe I'll get some sewing time in. Tomorrow I'm planning to go on a shop hop. :) There are 8 shops but spread out pretty far. I'd like to try to hit all 8 tomorrow; we'll see!

Maybe some. I'm cutting and sewing one block at a time on this 16-block quilt. I stopped at the Joann's in Tampa yesterday on the way home to Brooksville - had to take Grandson to his infusion appt. The store is much bigger than the one near here but I don't really see any difference in the fabric selection. I should have went straight home instead, it's always a rough day for me when I have to do that. It drains me to drive in Tampa now since I've moved from there 12 years ago. It's also emotionally draining for me that my Grandson has to do this every few weeks.

I am going to spend this evening un-burying my longarm and frame. I plan to start a quilting binge on several tops that I have complete.

Just finished two quilts. I'm not happy with the stripy quilt I was making for my co-worker. I felt no joy. So I am saving that for a man and I went last night and bought fabric that brings me joy. I'll make her a falling charms throw and I know I can whip that out pretty fast. We have a pancake fundraiser tomorrow at a restaurant for the children's home, but when I get home from that, I'll quilt all weekend.

Rita, I'm so sorry your grandson has to go through the infusions. He's blessed to have a grandma to help him through.
