Fall Roses

I was out enjoying some late day sunshine and noticed a few roses still in bloom, so figured I’d share. The bushes are ratty and in the process of losing leaves for the winter, so don’t look too closely!

Perle d’Or:

Climbing polyantha - My brain is blanking on the name right now. You guys will know. Notorious for balling, and in fact I’m only getting flowers opening for the first time now in the fall flush (you can still see brown edges). Super healthy foliage and vigorous so not in a rush to sp.

Plum Perfect:

Cornelia:

Pink Pet, a real workhorse. One of my favorites.

Little White Pet showing very pink little buds. I swear I smelled myrh in the fragrance. Never noticed that before .

Olivia Rose Austin did really well in its second year:

Teasing Georgia: I really enjoy this one but seems to be susceptible to cercospora, or something similar, no blackspot though so gets to stay for now.

Fall foliage on oak leaf hydrangea is always great:

Can you spot the visitor? Pretty well camouflaged:
