I don't know why you would get rid of such a nice piano. Even if no one in your family plays it (then why do you have a piano), if you are going to have a pub-type room, maybe one of your guests would like to play the piano. I vote on keeping the piano. Can you fit both the piano and a pool table into the room?

First you need to know if the pool table would even fit you need a huge space for a pool table and you don’t mention the size of yours and also the size of the room.A 4 x8 pool table needs an 18 x 14 ft room just for the table for playing . If the table is larger of course a much larger space

Do your homework on the space you need for pool table. If you can't fit one in the room, with or without the piano, you'll better understand the direction to take. Personally, I'd prefer a wine bar, a game table for cards or poker and the piano. For a party, it might be smart to hire a pianist for a couple of hours.

I recommend keeping in the room what you and your guests will use. If you like to play cards/games, then go that direction. If you will use the pool table, go that direction.

With a game table, you'll be able to fit a bar and the piano.

With the pool table, the piano is definitely out and even a bar would be challenging to fit.

So, if a pool table is important to you , put it in the middle of the room and have some sort of Bar there also , take the piano out and put it in the hallway . By the staircase ...that way if someone plays ..you can hear it everywhere in the house ..and its a lovely foyer look .

The piano will not fit in your foyer. The smallest grands are around 5 1/2 by 6 feet.

The piano may fit in your family room. Would need more photos. It sounds as if you don't use the piano, since you are considering selling it. If it is just collecting dust, then I think that is a good idea.
