Should be fine then !

There is such a thing as making a shower too large. I've built one that was 10' x 5' with multiple body sprays, handheld shower, four headed watertile shower head in the ceiling and there was still alot of room left. Makes for cold shower unless there's is a steam feature.

How many bedrooms do you have on the second floor? Do you need a bigger shower? Depending on your area of the country and your neighborhood it could hurt your resale value, if resale value is a concern consult a real estate agent in your area.

There are 5 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. 1 master bath and 2 other full baths with tubs for kids. If we take out the claw foot tub in the master I would put a piece of furniture in it's place to hold towels and bath items. the shower would only grow by 6" or so.

I think that will make for a beautiful bathroom and certainly not hurt resale value, especially with 2 other tubs on the same floor.
