    You meant weed block? You don't need to. Just put plenty of rock mulch at least 3" thick.

    I love the look of succulents, but I live in Las Vegas. How difficult are they to keep alive and beautiful in dry climates? Is a drip system enough?

    I'm in Southern California also a dry climates. Drip irrigation system is fine. If you are worried about the heat, place succulents in partial shade areas. They will do fine.
