I can't see why a fixture with incandescent bulbs would NOT be dimmable at the wall. That said....... if you love it, simple use the lowest wattage bulb you can get your hands on. Rarely do you need or want full blast overhead light in a dining space. Go to 15 watts : )

However,

The "non dimmable" feature is not even mentioned on another site............so perhaps call Shades of Light and ask, or have an electrician look at the fixture itself.
