Wise laundry gurus,

I wore a new blouse today, and my necklace rubbing on the blouse made the fabric begin to pill in a very prominent location. Is there some way to minimize the pilling? Will a fabric softener help? I normally don't use fabric softeners as I am severely allergic to Downy.

Thanks for any advice!

Hi Mabeldingeldine! nice to see your post. I'd take it back too. It could be the fabric is made with fibers that are so short they pop out with abrasion. This could happen in the wash or rubbing against other fabrics too. Some modern fabrics are difficult. Have you had this happen with other tops, and this particular necklace?

No, never before. It is one of my favorite pendants, so I wear it often. I am going to try and return it. Unfortunately, I have no tags but I'll give it a shot.
