Building a Home Design Dilemma Basements

Basement rumpus room size

hi we are planing to do a basement at our place approx 5 x 7meters. Do you think it is too small for a rumpus room/ music room? Aprox cost is $40000. my husband is doing most of the work himself as he is in excavation And concreting. Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers

Have no idea . You putting in a basement so that involves lifting the house / As for size what do you want there ? Pianos do not do well in basements because of the air usually being more humid , what instruments? Do you want games tables . Before doing anything figure how you want to use the space .
