I used the "shiny" wet look on my stone fireplace to make the colors more vibrant and wish I hadn't; it doesn't look natural. You can try a gloss and satin sealer on an inconspicuous area before doing the whole thing to see which you like better. The satin should bring out the colors of the brick without making them shiny.

I went with a low luster glaze and it came out great!

Building wet bar on the other side behind coach. Building cabinets so a lot of test fixing. But coming out nice.
