I have a very small kitchen that I am redoing, and am having a lot of trouble with where and where not to have the white subway backsplash, specifically around the pass through over the sink. This first photo is to the left of the pass through, there will be white shelves in the corner next to the cabinet. Red is where I am thinking backsplash should go. Or should it stop in line with upper cabinets?

The two photos below are to the right of the pass through, and the two options for backsplash. First, have it aligned with height of backsplash on pass through wall. Second, have it aligned with height of backsplash on wall to left of pass through.

Not sure its easy to get an idea of space with these photos but kitchen is too small and awkward to get photo of whole space at once! Any input would be greatly appreciated!
