can someone please advise are the orbs shinny or brassy gold? Pics can be deceiving.

I bought this, then they refused to return it. the "brass" you see is a very cheap painted-on dull brass color. it looks fake. at least Restoration Hardware's buffets like this one use real brass hardware.

As for jchrishome he has never purchased from us therefore we do not know where their comment is coming from. Based on reviews from verified purchasers all would disagree with his opinion.

We apologize we did not recognize your username, however, based on your order number we were able to obtain your record. Yes you did in fact purchase the item from us and requested a return. Looking at the records the return was denied due to Houzz policy only accepting returns before 30 days as is standard in most industries. Your return was requested 60 days after delivery of the item in February therefore it was denied. In regards to selling a product that is not as advertised we have always offered customers finish samples upon request to ensure that the color is what they are looking for. We have been in business for many years and know very well that the color of a picture may differ to the actual piece which is why we have finish samples available. All in all, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You may not have liked the item, however, as the reviews from verified purchasers show the item is "absolutely gorgeous" and it's the reason why it's very popular and constantly sells out.
