I use MG moisture control so it doesn't dry out too fast or stay too wet and so far I've had great results with all my potted plants. I don't really fertilize much although I should start with something organic and diluted. I used MG once and a bunch of leaves fell off so I never ended up using it for my cocoa again. But so far mine is growing steadily and is about 2 yrs old and 20" tall.

They like to have their leaves misted daily with a fine mist if they are inside where its not humid. Also you could try putting a dish of pebbles under them with the pot sitting on the pebbles and a little water in the bottom of the dish under the pot..not with the actual pot touching the water. This gives a little humidity to the plant without soaking the roots.

I grew them. I used one of those boxed organic fertilizers for Citrus and Acid loving plants. It worked for a 10x10' tree in a large pot.

So I went ahead and re-used some MG fertilizer (a tiny amt) and sprinkled dynamite 18-6-8 over the top so that will feed it over the next few months as I water. Already have new leaves coming out :)

Parker turtle, I haven't repotted it just because it wasn't growing much since I had bought it. Now it has grown a few inches taller and had put out 3 new leaves. I'll be repotting it once I can get to it. What would you say is a good medium to pot it in?

If treated right- they can live decades in a pot. So,they can be long term plant pets.
