Growing Tomatoes

Phillipino currant tomatoes

This one is a disaster for me. They look cute on the vine, but in reality, they are difficult to pick up with a salad fork. They are prolific to a fault. They fell to the ground before I can have time to pick (and discard)! They come back year over year as volunteer. I have to pull many yong plants.

Anyone has any experience with this variety?

A neighbor grew currant tomatoes one year -- don't know if they were Phillipino currants, though -- they had severe powdery mildew, too.

No powdery mildew for me. Just a nuisance to pick them. They are SO prolific.
