desperate... need help with vinyl tile removal.. kitchen in shambles

We have peel and stick vinyl tile installed over old linoleum. We started tearing up the vinyl peel and stick tiles. They seem to be coming up ok but the adhesive left on the linoleum is a bear to get off.

Any tips, advice or ideas?

We tried the adhesive remover from Lowes and Goof off. WE have a floor scraper and it has been not a lot accomplished after hours of working.... HELP.. TIA

You are doing this the hard way. Remove all of your old flooring at once. Not layer by layer.

Pop off the baseboard and take off the top layer of plywood with both vinyl floors attached. A trip to the dump and your ready to start new.

That is if you are lucky and you have plywood subfloors. Removing it along with vinyl and glue is the best option. We had similar situation, except concrete floors as subfloor. After trying multiple solvents and tools, we end up watering the glue and leaving under plastic wrap for couple of hours, then scraping off softened glue.
