Cambria and Silestone have great reputations and we specify and use them a lot.

I've used Cambria, Caesarstone and Pental in my bathrooms. All done by the same fabricator. They all seem to perform pretty much the same and I picked them based on who had the best color to go with the other elements in each bathroom.

I would probably stay away from any cheap Chinese knock-off products.

I've seen no evidence that Chinese quartz is inferior to any other. It's all the same stuff; you're paying for a brand and fashion.

That may be, Joseph. But, that was not always the case, as LG is not an American company. It is South Korean.

I’m not saying one product is better than the other. However, if you’re looking for an American owned and operated quartz company, Cambria is the only choice.

I've only used Zodiaq by Dupont, manufactured in Thetford Mines, Quebec by those villainous Canuckistanians.

Good manufacturer advice from pros on the thread. In addition- the best fabricator you can find will make more difference than the sliver of difference in most brands you look at. Find a good one- he/she will lead you to the best material for your project

Caesarstone has a USA manufacturing plant in Georgia near Savannah. Opened in 2015.

They are all good. The only ones I haven't used are the knock off Chinese brands and Mont...and a few others that aren't available here yet. Mont is pricey in my area. Full slabs must be purchased. Whereas, other brands, you only pay for exact square feet.

One of our fabricators dropped off samples of a Chinese no-name brand. Within a few weeks it had scratches. So we don't even offer those now.

The brands I use the most are: Cambria, LG Viatera, Silestone, Zodiaq and Hanstone. I don't work much with Caesarstone anymore, mostly because their colors tend to be more modern in design. It will also depend on the fabricator I hire.....and if they stock certain brands or have purchase agreements with the quartz manufacturers. That will affect the price too. I use two big fabricators. Each has deals set up with different brands. One has great prices with Silestone and LG Viatera....the other has great prices with Zodiaq.

You can shop two ways: 1. Shop for the best service and best install...the pick color. Or 2. Decide which color you love! Then shop a few places....look at their seams. THEN go with the company that gives you the best service (and price if you must)! Don't let a couple hundred dollars sway you on this purchase.
