Pretty quartz choice. Is it Cambria?

Black will show every little bit of debris or food. You know, like a black car shows every speck of dust. I've never had a client complain about dulling though.

Also, a black sink is really going to stand out against that countertop. That's fine if you want to draw attention to the sink. If you want to the countertop to be the "star", I would choose a sink that blends in. Something close to the taupe in the quartz.

As the above person mentioned, black shows everything, including water spots. Also, have you ever seen those black bathrooms with the back sinks and toilets, etc? Not a good look, imo. That said, I would go cream. Otherwise, too dated. Your counters are the attention grabber so don't compete.

I'm with Patricia, stainless is really the best material for what a sink has to do. If not stainless, go with the cream color.

I've only used a dark sink with very dark gray or black countertops.

I think you can go either stainless steel or with granite sink in lighter color like biscuit or metallic gray.

a copper sink would also look nice. depends what else you have in the kitchen. cab color, tile color, flooring, faucets,,,, Personally I hate SS sinks, so anything is better than those to me. dark sink, copper or a white enamel, all would work fine.

Somewhere I've got pictures of a Silegranit 1 sink, twenty-some years old before they invented Silegranit 2, that looked like the day it was installed. Get the sink you want; it's not that big a deal to change it.
