This tub was 72" long by 36" wide. We allowed for 6" of space to accommodate the faucet. But different faucets will have different requirements for space. I would suggest reviewing the faucet specs to determine exactly what you need. Then there are some framing requirements that may play into the final calculation as well. As you will want to make sure there is proper support if someone chooses to sit next to the faucet to turn it on and adjust the temperature.
