Who designed this bathroom?!

1- No barn door to the bathroom. Doesn't block sound, smells, moisture, or provide any privacy.

2- No storage tower. You already have a whole bank of cabinets next to the "his sink".

3- The sink placements feel off. Your husband will be cramped into the corner near the shower and you're shoved right by the door. Neither seems very appealing and both seem like they're kind of in the way.

You have a 10'x6' shower? That is bigger than some bedrooms. Seems like a waste of space. You also have to walk four feet down a hall to use the toilet. I would start from scratch and rearrange everything with a bathroom designer. Add more windows. A 12" window is tiny. If that's an outer wall, get more light!

That freezing cold, terribly expensive, and horribly disproportionate, shower is 50% larger than my entire 3 pc bathroom was in my first house.

What kind of budget are you operating on here? 100K? 120K?

You need to hire a K&B designer pronto. And start over. You can’t afford not to.

This is a remodel. My husband is doing the work except for the cabinetry. The large shower is a steam shower. The depth of 6 feet for this is to accommodate the interior door swing of the WC and we brought the wall straight across.
We choose a barn door so we utilize the wall space in the bathroom for the linen cabinet the barm door will slide behind my husbands armoire. We don't intend to close the door as smells will be trapped inside the WC. We have seen new construction and parade of homes and with barn doors to the Master bath.
I do agree we need more light. I will work on the layout. To see how we can tweak my side.
