Help with fireplace materials

Hello -

This is my first time posting. I have fallen in love with a picture of a fireplace i have found online from Studio McGee. We are in the process of building a house and are including a wood burning fireplace. Does anyone have any idea what material is used inside this fireplace? Would this even be an option with wood burning? Thank you for any suggestions!

The material inside the fireplace is or certainly could be a kind of brick laid in a herringbone pattern. Any competent mason could produce this and as long as the brick is rated for high heat, it will serve very well for the interior of a wood burning fireplace.
