Please help me what to do here ... colors, lights, curtains,... only furniture will be same. Thank you for your help :)

Hi,
First of all I would remove the print above the TV and if you really love it, you could hang it above the chair. But hang it at eye level. It is too high up now.

Are you considering painting the walls? The colour looks like a peach colour now? Is that correct? Would you like another colour on the walls?

I think that adding some brighter coloured pillows to your sofas will bring some zing and vavoom to your living room. Something like lime green or light blue.

Also, you seem to have enough space to pull the seating arrangement (with rug) back a bit. So the loveseat will be free from the wall and then you could angle the chair a bit, which will make it less static.

What is above the chair on the wall? Is that a light fixture or an electrical point? I'd much rather see a floor lamp in the corner that now has the vase with the twigs. And I'm not too keen on the ceiling light. Sorry. It sort of pulls the ceiling down for me. If I put my thumb in front of it in the photo, your living area looks calmer and more balanced immediately.

The sofas are a bit dark. Try adding some color through accessories.

Great, you read my minds :) Yes, print will go out ( gift from very good friend - but will be moved to other room)
Color is beige and light brown now... and yes, I need to painting walls .. so I was thinking about wall coverings-wallpaper (maybe wallpaper on one wall only as a detail - wall behind twoseats sofa) ... I feel good with brown colors ... Concerning pillows in green or light blue.. yes, I like this idea(Thank you again :) ) ... Above the chair is some kind of lamp, and I want to change all lamps ( lighting from kitchen , dinning and living ...)

interesting, yes ... but cannot imagine white colors in living room.. other rooms and staircase are in this white color, and I like it

Hi, there. I think the color is needed, then curtains or sheers in yellow, blue etc may help a lot. Put some green plants in the corner and put some pretty painting on the wall or decorating lights ? If brown tones make you feel good, that's a good way to go. Right now your paint has too much of a pink undertone. A deeper color of beige on the wall would give the room a lift. Accents in burnt orange would also be a nice touch. The drapes could be a natural linen and a new rug for the living room with earth tones and some burnt orange would also look attractive.

Yes, it was with orange details before .. but as every women, I would like to change something again and get more elegant , even I like very much last two ideas , but again I am afraid about this greige color...

Hi,
I'm back. I'm glad you want to change the light fixture in the living area :-) The wall behind the loveseat is a bit too small to make a statement with wallpaper. It will look a bit random I think. That wall would also be a good wall for the painting that was a gift from your good friend. I know you're thinking of moving it to another room, but it would be about the right size for that wall I suspect.

Would you consider only changing your coffee table? I think it's a bit too heavy and too matchy with your TV cabinet wall.

Why are you afraid of greige? It won't bite ;-) It's a warm cross between beige and grey. You did make me smile.

:) I am glad that I make you smile ... this color is nice , So, this will be main color in my room. This wall where I was thinking about wallpaper is 1,80 m and design is this one : http://www.tapeten-express.de/Design-Tapeten/RAVENNA/50342-Ravenna-Marburg-Tapete::759.html Please check . Concerning table, there is no way to move it as my husband found this special wood and he is very proud :)
and what to do with lighting and lamps ? Do you have some photos?

I would put the spotlights that are currently in your dining area in your living area. And a drum pendant would be nice centered above your dining table.

The wallpaper you chose is beautiful, but a bit dark. I would go with the lighter, more neutral version. It will make a statement, don't worry. And if you're thinking about adding an accent colour like blue (or turquoise, or teal would both be lovely too), a neutral base will be better. You can then change your accent colour (red, orange) without having to worry about it going with your wallpaper.

So, I've chosen quite a neutral palette for you, and you can add colourful art and pillows.

Also, you could put a (blue) tray on your coffeetable and put your remote control in there, a tealight holder, a small vase with flowers, coasters...

Oh Carolins, thank you so much. You are very good. Concerning wallpaper, I had catalogs in my room, and was trying all , looking and lighter and darker version. Lighter you cannot see , but this darker was very nice. Now, I don't know what to do. You are totaly right when you say that because of different colors in details, lighter is much better. Ha, now I have big big problem :) I have this and next week to prepare all , because masters comming on 14th Jun... At last, we agreed main colors of walls .

Lighten walls with a latte color. Throughout. Windows. A woven bamboo blind in a honey color with panels in a woven fabric on ends only. Go white. Paint all trim white. Remove two pieces on either side of TV. Remove pic above TV. Add a tall potted silk palm to one side and a tall 5 ft by 36" picture contemporary with colors on other side. Take away one sofa and add two armless chairs in a color print place side by side. No table. On sofa add zebra throw that will hang over back in one corner. Area rug 8x10 n bold colors in front of sofa. You have to many large pieces in a small area. Bigger prob than wall color.

Coffee table too big. Get a round dark wood and glass, or go ottoman in a fabric try red. Remove all small art from walls.on wall by sofa add a large sunburst mirror 45" hang low 25" from floor centered. Remove light in ceiling.

Has anyone suggested separating the three blond cabinetry pieces? The vertical cabinet and the drawer chest could easily go on other walls in the space. They are making the room look as though you are using it for storage because everything is clumped around those three pieces. Try the drawer chest on the wall to the right and the tall one in the dining area or to the right of the opening to the sunroom looking space.
