I don't think the table is too small. I think that the light fixture is too big for that table. Adding a chair to each end may help as well, and an area rug that fits the table and the chairs when they are pulled out, will help to anchor it and create a 'dining space'. I think you're off to a good start. Changing the window treatments to draperies or something a little softer will eliminate the block look they have now, that may also be competing with the table shape/size.

The table is a good size, especially if you are planning to have stools at that counter next to it. I don't care for the chairs you selected. Something with a higher back would look better.

You need a new light fixture hung at a proper height and window treatments for this room to come together.

Table size is ok for the space.

Maybe some colorful art will help the space as well.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’m just getting started in here. I plan to add bar stools. I purchased a rug offline but didn’t like the way it looked in person, so I have to find another. Does anyone have any examples of window treatments or light fixtures they think would compliment the room?
