If you are thinking of a farm sink, I love my Kohler Whitehaven. It is cast iron. I went back and forth between fireclay and cast iron, but I had a cast iron sink for 18 years before, and it stood up wonderfully. I had concern about possible chips and cracks in fireclay, especially as changing out such a sink can be expensive, even if the warranty gives you a new sink.

Looking at your pic I realize you might not have a farm sink base, but the Whitehaven does come in a short apron style that fits on a standard sink base cabinet. Here it is in my older kitchen. My quartz has some similar coloring to your granite - as far as I can tell:

I do have the grills to protect the bottom of the sink.

If you simply want a good under mount sink, I still like the strength of cast iron, though many like stainless too. There are many good choices in an under mount that are stronger than fireclay.

The Whitehaven comes in different colors too - most of the Kohler cast iron sinks come in biscuit too.
