3" high backsplash with 6" high faucet

I was going to get a 4" backsplash but really like the look of a 2 or 3" instead. I will have a three piece faucet and the spout is curved and about 6" high at the tallest part. Will this look in proportion? I can't seem to find photos with shorter back splashes. TIA.

Hello Nikki are you trying to decide backsplash size too? I was told 6'" is more common recently but was looking at doing 4" so I'm wondering what you are doing too.
