I think the 8" or widespread faucet configuration will look the best

On an 8" spread there will be 8" from the center of the hot faucet to the center of the cold faucet. Like this:

A 4" or mini spread will be quite close together and make it difficult to clean around the handles and spout.

The 4" spread also comes as a center set which in my opinion looks like builder grade.

8" Spread or the Single hole install is what use as standard in 90% of our bathroom renovations...we leave the 4" spread for builders or bathrooms who have very narrow bath vanities where counter is at a premiun..8" spread easier to clean.

I have these faucets in my bathrooms, and I wish I didn't. To clean the things, you have to fold a washcloth and "floss" between the faucet and handle. Not so easy, especially because they're close to the wall, but they are the cheapest option (not sure why).

I'd 100% prefer a wider set like this ... your hand can fit between these items to clean:
