Agree with annied75. Absolutely get a pop of color on that front door, otherwise it will disappear.

Finishing your house is an exciting time! The cream color of your garage is nice with the stone. I'd like to see that same cream replace the white. I'm not sure you need shutters. If you have the heart to do it, I'd simplify the trim on the main gable keeping just one peak. And yes to a pretty color to call out your front door.

I would use the panel shutters properly sized and with hardware so they look functional, even if they aren't functional. Each shutter needs to be 1/2 the size of the window so when you close the shutter, the window is covered. Here is an example of shutters with hardware (hinges and shutter dogs). I don't know if the shutters below are functional or not, but they look like they could close and cover the window.

I agree with lisaam, remove that decorative piece on the right that is a faux gable. You have too much going on with different materials and colors. A little simplification will help calm it down a bit. JMO.
