Countertops

I am redoing my kitchen and will have white cabinets. For the countertop, I'm deciding between a white w/ light grey one (like your island) and a dary grey one like what you have around the perimeter.

I'm wondering if you have any thoughts or recommendations after having both. Does one need more cleaning/maintenance? If you were to do it again, would you choose the same countertops that you have now?

We used a marble-looking quartz on the island & dark grey quartz on the white perimeter cabinets. We did this so there was more contrast on the white cabinets with a darker color for the counters. However, both are very durable & easy to clean!

For the island we used Arizona Tile's New Carrera Quartz - a marble looking quartz slab.
