Pee Pad a Puppy Alongside Outside Trained Dogs?

Is this a recipe for disaster? My two dogs potty outside only. Can I bring home a puppy to pee pad train for friends who live in city apartment? Pup would have a two part Crate for sleep and potty. Crate would sit on hardwood floor protected by plastic layers. My nosy dogs will be most interested investigating this, I am sure. Might they want to go inside, despite my best efforts ? Pup will also go on grass outside. Opinions , please. Must let my friends know if this is a no go.

IMHO, I think your in for trouble, p-pads will confuse your dogs, and it sounds like the puppy will spend to much time in a crate, I'd pass if it were me, NOT fair to your dogs

You have to properly trained dogs. I would not want to mess with that. Just my two cents

Why aren't the friends training the puppy in their apartment? If they don't have time to train it then they probably don't have enough time to spend with the puppy.

Even if you train the puppy in your home, in a room separate from your dogs, the puppy will still need to go thru some retraining in the friends apartment. I assume you're using a crate in addition to a puppy play pen?
