Dining Room Table and Chairs. Mix and Match?

Hi!

My first time posting, I am looking for some help making decisions with our dining table and chairs.

We are building a new home. Our Kitchen, Dining and Living are one open space. White cabinets, dark gray quartz and dark hardwoods. For the living room, we just bought a dark gray leather couch, Marten's aged elm side table and coffee tables from RH.

Our dilemma is our pottery barn black table hasn't held up so well. Our Aaron chairs are perfect. Trying to avoid buying a whole new set and PB doesn't make any black tables anymore. Is it possible to have a RH dining room table in aged elm with the black chairs? Or another table in a different color to go with it? Or should we just bite the bullet and buy all new? Open to any ideas you might have! RH table in same color as our coffee and side tables. Aged Elm Aaron chair in black from PB

I followed your links, and I think that should work. Maybe. Basically what you would have is a grey table with blackish chairs, right?

The color of the RH is more of a light wood. I thought maybe tying in the coffee tables and side tables to the dining room table might make it work as it's all in the same room.... open to any other ideas that might go with those black chairs! Thank you!

Since the chairs are black and the floors are dark, I think going with a lighter table should work better than a darker one.

Here are the photos. PB doesn't show the chair in black, so you'll have to imagine it. I think it will look OK. I might choose a table with a less fussy pedestal or legs.
