The first is Podocarpus macrophyllus.

The 2nd one is Baccharis halimifolia, Groundsel or Sea-Myrtle. It is a native shrub, flowers in fall and is a good butterfly plant.

I second the sea myrtle I.D.

Difficult to get a sense of size on the first, but it reminds me of a podocarpus seedling. That's a very common landscaping plant in my area and I find seedlings often, brought by birds, who eat the fruit.

Maybe look around & see if you spot anything that looks similar in neighboring areas....
