I happen to like top loaders, but have a question that is probably stupid. Since many of the existing TL machines had cold/cold, warm/cold, and hot/cold, if you swapped the hoses after the machine initially filled with hot, would hot water go to the machine if you then attached the cold hose to the hot water pipe? Or, could you use a two-hose connector to the hot from both hoses? Goofy, or possible? Obviously, not something to fool with every day, but sometimes when you really wanted hot/hot, could that be done?
