As part of our apartment renovation, we had 7 doors stripped of about 90 years of paint. Our original plan was to simply repaint them white, but they came out incredibly good post-stripping and it feels "sinful" to paint over that wood. Question is, if we matched the wood to the same hue as the floors, but still had white panted trim/casings, would that be odd? I cant really imagine it in my head.
